Making of semester exams !
” exam mudinjadhae therila la ?! “ that’s the first thought that came to my mind after semester exams got over . It actually surprised me ! Usually i used to have a countdown timer for the exam to get over . This time it was something new , started with a tentative “Hi” in the first year , branched out to ” aiyoo ! Have you prepared for today’s lab ” in the second year , developed into ” aathuku golu ku vango ” in 3 year , and finally leading to ” your house or mine ?! ” in the final year . Or rather in simple terms the transition was from - texting ” Eesha va pudichu vai ” to ” eyi eesha chumma kathadha ” .
Thus began the making of semester exams . Every single moment is worth of being lol’d at . So here am i to describe a few .
Take 1 - location : anitha’s house
Anitha , furiously trying to explain an important concept to myth . After she finishs explaining , Myth : ” why complicating such a simple matter ya ?! “ Anitha : ” unna lam kollanum ! Unaku poi explain panen paru ! “
a gr8 soul who is ready to explain things for the 1000th if we don’t understand by the 999th time .
Take 2 : location - Myth’s kitchen
” i think we shouldn’ve put some more salt . What say ?” ” no ! Its not cooked properly at all “ speaking like they are shooting for some cookery program are none other than our mithra and anitha. I think we broke all records by taking the maximum possible time for cooking the potato curry . I have pictures of the brave attempt too . In the end it turned out quite well . This calls for a special mention to the maid servant who battled with the utensil we had used to clean it the day after .
Take 3 . Location - same kitchen . Me : sitting in the dining table , engrossed with the morning paper and a cup of coffee . * clanging sound in the kitchen * , i rush over to find the whole kitchen flooded with MILK . Yes , u heard me right its milk . Myth : ” aiyoo ! I kept in sim only di ! Don’t knw how this happened “ ( rotfl ) i finished cleaning the whole place and anitha resumed making coffee for others . This is the routine , meaning ? Myth flooded the place with milk on regular basis , much to eesha’s delight and my amusement .
Take 4 : location - Myth’s hall myth : ” I’m very very fresh , let me explain this example” worth mentioning fact , the time was 1 in the morning . Me and anitha ( mithra rr already in 7th jamam sleepin ) look at each other in apprehension . We : ” okay ! Sollu “ after 30 mins of explanation . Me : half sleep with my head on the book anitha : ” podhum padichadhu ! Lets sleep “ both of us with blank expressions and no idea of what she explained . I guess there is no need to describe myth’s expression . Myth : ” I’ll never teach anything hereafter “ Me : ” never mind ! This is the last exam so no worries ! Haha ! Then we ended up cajoling her for the best part of the hour . In the end the question did turn up in the paper , and i smiled a bit on seeing it , earning a suspicious Glare from the inivigilator .
Once upon a time a great GRE scholar Myth putforth the law of 2 mark which stated that anything and everything given in italics or bold font is henceforth classified as an ” important 2 mark ” . Furthermore its worthy to mention that these never came in exams .
Take 5 - location - outside exam hall time - 9.55 am bioinformatics exam . Myth : ” hey hey ! Reading this protein examples application “ all of us frantically trying to mug it up . Anitha : ” eyii ! Oruthan eh savadikre , ana avan savala , so fold panni savadichu bury panre , aparam avan evolve ayi pei ah vandhu unna torture panran ! “ this is the explanation for - protein death , protein folding and protein evolution . I burst out laughing uncontrollably . People around me look at me peculiarly as its almost Time to go to the exam . I sober up immediately and go into exam hall .
Thus the semester exams was made with lots of lol moments , several sad agains , 10 clock messages and 4 clock wake up calls ( spl mention ) , waiting for messages which never came , night strolls to mannah’s bakery , morning Maggie bfasts , dominoes deliveries , the fight for bedsheets , early morning rush and panic to board the 15 bus .
” Ore veetile paduthu thoonginom natpin porvai kullae “ I’ll surely miss all this after we part ways to find our own future ! cheers to final year BME !
